Will your scooter need to climb hills?
The more demanding the terrain, the higher the voltage system should be. For example, in a city like San Francisco, 52V system scooters end up being able to climb hills, while in NYC 48V scooters are mostly sufficient.
How much do you weight including your usual carry-on?
This is getting at the motor capacity of your scooter. Generally speaking, the heavier the rider, the higher the motor wattage requirement. Rest assured, we also take into consideration the importance of speed and acceleration to each rider, prior to recommending specific motor wattage.
