Why is my scooter not showing or updating in Apple Find My?

Last updated November 5, 2026

Apple Find My lets you track your scooter using Apple's network of devices. It works with iPhone only and is available on the Phantom 2.0 and Phantom 2.0 Stellar, Go 2026, Go Stellar, City 2.0, City Stellar and Dash. The Explore 2.0, the Go 2024 and earlier models do not have it.

Watch: Apollo Phantom 2.0, Apple Find My

Common symptoms

  • Scooter not detected in the Find My app, or shown as offline or lost.

  • Location last updated hours or days ago, or no updates despite the scooter being powered on.

  • "No location found" status.

  • Setup pairing fails during the initial connection.

Note: Find My works best in areas with many Apple devices. The Apollo Phantom 2.0 FAQ explains why no location may be found.

Possible causes

  • Low battery or deep sleep.

  • Poor network proximity.

Step 1: Verify basics and power cycle

  • Charge the scooter fully, as low battery prevents Bluetooth broadcasting.

  • Press and hold the M button for 2 seconds to make it discoverable (the headlight may flash).

  • Restart your iPhone and open Find My.

Step 2: Re-pair in the Find My app

  • Open Find My, tap the + icon, then select "Add Other Item."

  • Name your scooter (for example "Phantom 2.0"), add an emoji if you like, and connect.

  • If it was already added, remove it first: Items tab, select the scooter, Remove Item, then add it again.

  • Stay near the scooter with Bluetooth on during pairing.

Step 3: Test Bluetooth and reset connections

  • Forget the scooter in your iPhone's Bluetooth settings, then re-pair.

  • Toggle Airplane Mode on and off on your iPhone to refresh connections.

  • Test with another iPhone to rule out device issues.

  • Perform a controlled reset: power on the scooter, plug in the charger briefly, unplug it, then power off and on.

Step 4: Advanced reset

If pairing still fails, reset Find My on the scooter: see FindMy Reset. If the Bluetooth problem persists, disconnect the handlebar assembly (comm cable) for a full 10 minutes, then reconnect it, as described in Apollo App Constantly Disconnecting from Scooter.

Prevention tips

  • Use Park "P" Mode in the Apollo app alongside Find My for layered security.

  • On any model, you can also hide an Apple AirTag or Samsung SmartTag inside the deck.

  • A tracker helps find a scooter but does not replace it: see Anti-theft protection plan: Apollo Secure price and how to enroll (not Connect+).
